November-December Entry Five

I sat at the clean table in a light blue dress. I missed him.
When you try your best but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want but not want but not what you need.
When you fell so tired but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse
Raven listened to the slow sad song. A man was performing it across the room, playing the piano.  The sad song reminded her of him, and of her.
And the tears come streaming down your face.
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Raven tried to hold in her tears. She couldn’t help but think of Robin and how he hade just left. She thought they hade had it so well. She thought he had loved her like she had loved him.
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.
‘Ya right.’ Raven thought. She would never find him again. If Robin wanted to hide away from the Teen Titans, he could.
And high up above or down below.
When you’re to in love to let it go
But if you never try you’ll never know
Just what you were
Raven was below, she was to in love to let it go, and she would never try.  The man continued to sing, and Raven continued to battle tears.
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.
As Raven drunk her tea, she felt like a mess. She also felt suspicious. How could this song just explain her situation perfectly?

Raven couldn’t help it. She did as the song said. She cried. But she also felt she knew the voice some how.

Raven wiped the tears away and looked at the man stand up and shut the piano cover. She was surprised to see he was young. A few girls in the corner Smiled and waved at him.  Finally he turned towards her. Raven just stared at him. As he walked towas her Ravens hart fluttered and recognized his sweet face. And his sweet...eyes. He walked right past me and to the balcony. And I followed.
